Customize request letter to obtain necessary rights for each project

	Web Rights

Research grantors for contact information if not part of our comprehensive database

E-mail, fax, or mail request letters

Review each grant of permission or contract

	Verify all necessary rights are obtained
	Contact additional grantors if necessary
	Input and notify the editor of any restrictions in the contract
	Input credit line
	Negotiate fees if necessary

Provide Status Reports throughout project in PDF format

Contact Editor/Author for all “special situations”

	Inform Editor about any Refusals
	Forward any pre-publication fees to editor for payment
	Inform Editor about any High Fees as defined in the beginning of the project
	Ongoing e-mail/telephone/fax contact for any questions or permissions’ issues

Provide credit lines in print and/or electronic formats

Return files at end of project, sorted by grantor (unless otherwise requested)

	Provide final Status Report, Fees to be Paid List, and Gift Copy List, sent with files
	Provide “remittance” copies for all “Fees to be Paid”
