The Permissions Group has been in existence since 1990. From its original “one woman” operation to the current staff, TPG provides comprehensive copyright consulting. ”TPG” negotiates the rights to use copyrighted materials in text and trade books, CD-ROMs, Audio CDs, E-books, internet-based products and other media on behalf of publishers across the world. In addition, we currently administer the granting rights for Tribune Media Services.

	TPG began managing the reprint business on behalf of Tribune Media Services and McClatchy-Tribune Information Services (formerly Knight-Ridder Tribune) in 2006
	Our current staff of 7 full time researchers and additional part-time assistants allows us to provide comprehensive copyright consulting.
